Harvey Goldstein has held membership and leadership roles in various professional organizations throughout his career, including a term as the chairman of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Indonesia Chapter.

In its July 2014 edition of Global Pulse, YPO described Asia as the “most optimistic region” in the world, basing this assessment on the region’s Confidence Index survey results. The recent electronic survey polled 2,975 CEOs from around the world, including 329 Asian business leaders, regarding their economic expectations.
Asia’s Confidence Index was measured at 67.3, four points higher than its previous assessment. This score represents the region’s highest rating since April of 2011 and partially resulted from executives’ investment tendencies. YPO found that Asian CEOs are the most likely regional group to increase their capital spending in the next year. The organization also concluded that executives from Asia are extremely confident regarding future improvements in business conditions and revenue.
